Reconstructive urology, which includes all surgical correction procedures to ensure the normal functions of organs in the urinary and reproductive tract system, is the common field of plastic surgery and urology. The diagnosis and treatment of urological disorders, trauma, and urethral strictures that cause problems with urination and require reconstructive surgery are also successfully applied in our hospital
Urethral stricture is almost always seen in men. The most common causes are; trauma (falling from a height, traffic accident, fire-armed injury), sexually transmitted disease, stone, and hospital interventions (injury of the urethra mucosa in endoscopic surgeries). It can sometimes be seen after closed prostate surgery (TUR-P) or after catheterization. However, in a significant part of patients, no cause can be found (idiopathic).
WHAT ARE THE COMPLAINTS?
In these patients; Complaints such as tension-pain during urination, pain during ejaculation, dripping of urine, swelling of the penis during urination, urinary tract infection, pain-infection in the testicles, blood in the urine or semen can be seen.
WHAT ARE THE TREATMENT METHODS?
Three methods are commonly used in the treatment of urethral stricture. In the dilatation method, the narrow part is up to the width accepted as normal; expanded using probe-like materials. This procedure can be performed in outpatient conditions, without general anesthesia. This expansion process may need to be repeated periodically. The risk of recurrence of the stenosis is high. Depending on the procedure, bleeding and infection may occur.
In the urethrotomy method, the narrow area is cut and expanded by making an endoscopic knife or laser under the supervision of camera instruments. routing is applied. Process examination is applied to the Foley catheter. He’ll make his doctor’s patient for probe duration. After the probe is removed, expansion (dilation) is performed at certain periods.
In the urethroplasty method, the open narrow area is removed. Anesthesiologist is performed and it is a preferred person especially in religious strictures and long-distance strictures under the first two supports. One or two can be taken today. Re-development of stenosis is riskier.
With some congenital or subsequent effects, the appearance and function of the penis may change. For this reason, penile aesthetic surgeries are performed both to eliminate aesthetic concerns and to increase the quality of sexual life.
How is Penile Aesthetic Surgery Performed?
Penis Curvature Correction surgeries.
Penis Lengthening Surgery
Male sexual organ lengthening surgery is performed in two ways for the same purpose.
Tissues and ligaments between the penis and pelvis are cut according to certain steps and the penis is extended by pulling it forward.
The second method is to evacuate the fat in the root of the penis and to shape this area in accordance with the shape of the penis, as a continuation of the genitals, and to extend the penis and its appearance.
The doctor will recommend which method to apply among these surgeries performed on the male genital area. Because the content of the operation to be performed and what kind of image should be created can be foreseen by the doctor.
PENIS ENLARGEMENT SURGERY
Penis enlargement is done in cases that are congenitally thin or remain thin due to weight problems, lowering the person’s self-confidence and affecting their sexual life. There are 3 different methods for this purpose.
Penis Enlargement with fat Injection: Fat tissues taken from their own body are processed and made suitable for re-injection. In this way, it is injected onto the penis to obtain the desired thickness and shape. The procedures are performed with local anesthesia.
Penis Enlargement with Filler Injection: As in skin filling, it is the injection of a special filling material into suitable points to provide thickening. The results obtained with this method can be made permanent or temporary depending on the filler material. The results of this operation performed with local anesthesia are successful.
Penis Thickening with Tissue Transfer: Tissues are placed between some tissues taken from the patient’s own body and the fat tissues in the appropriate places in the genitals and a solution is provided. This operation is sometimes performed under local or general anesthesia.
The most preferred method by patients is fat transfer. However, which method to use will be suggested by the surgeon. Because the method that will provide success for each patient is different.
PENILE CURVATURE CORRECTION SURGERY
This operation is performed for problems that occur as a result of wrong circumcision, accidents and traumas, developmental disorders in developmental age, vitamin deficiency, drug and injection treatments for some serious diseases
In these surgeries,
- With prosthesis placement
- Treatment is provided with penile aesthetic surgery
In these surgeries, if necessary, the prosthesis is placed and the problem is tried to be treated with the necessary steps. Sometimes, a solution is provided by making revisions only in the penis without using the prosthesis. The procedures are performed with general anesthesia.

The search for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (erectile dysfunction) in medicine has been going on for many years. For this purpose, many treatment methods have been described throughout human history.
What types of a penile prosthesis is there?
Penile prosthesis is evaluated under three headings:
One-piece penile prostheses (Rigid and semi-rigid ones)
2-piece penile prostheses (Inflatable)
3-piece penile prostheses (Inflatable)
How is the prosthesis size determined during penile prosthesis implantation?
During penile prosthesis implantation, while the structures related to erection, called the corpus cavernosum, are expanded, the penis length is evaluated with special measuring devices and the most appropriate prosthesis is attached to the patient.
Does penile prosthesis enlarge the penis?
Penile prosthesis surgery is not a penis enlargement surgery. However, since various curvatures and deformities can be corrected during the operation, some lengthening of the penis after penile prosthesis surgery may attract attention externally. In addition, some prostheses that have been technologically developed in the last period not only increase in length but also expand transversely, creating some thickness and diameter increase in the penis.
It is the last step treatment method applied to patients with erectile dysfunction.
One-piece, 2-piece or 3-piece varieties are available.
2- and 3-piece prosthesis are also known as inflatable prosthetics.
The one-piece prosthesis is known as a malleable prosthesis.
Anesthesia preparation is made before the operation.
The part, pump and reservoir placed in the cavernous tissues during the surgery are attached to different body parts for 3-piece prostheses.
Pre-existing curvatures of the penis can be corrected during surgery.
Post-operative patient and female partner satisfaction rates can reach over 90%.
The bladder is the part where urine accumulates and prepares to be expelled. The bladder, also known as the urinary bladder, is part of the urinary system. The bladder consists of three intertwined layers.
Bladder enlargement may be due to the constant holding of the urine collected in the bladder or for different reasons. For example, bladder enlargement or prolapse is common in women after pregnancy. The main reason for this is due to straining. In advanced bladder enlargement, the person may not be able to fully control his urine. It is also seen in patients
who have undergone surgery. For example, if there is muscle damage in men with prostate disease, urinary incontinence is possible. The inability of the person to control his urine, the destruction of the urinary tract by problems such as burning and itching, and the problems in the kidneys reduce the quality of life of the person.
Bladder Enlargement Surgery
Bladder enlargement is not a condition that can be treated with medication, as it might be expected. The patient must have surgery. First, the patient should consult a gynecologist and have an examination, of the examination result, a decision will be taken on the path to be followed with her doctor. Bladder enlargement surgery is extremely simple and successful with the possibilities that medicine offers us. The risk of life is negligible, almost nonexistent. The operation takes a short time.
