Radixact device is a new generation version of TomoTherapy device produced by Accuray company. This version, in which tomography and linear accelerators are combined together, is faster and more powerful than the previous TomoTherapy models, and is in the top segment as a top-level device in terms of technological hardware and software. Radixact TomoTherapy is a medical technological device that is incomparably faster than its previous versions in the planning stages, and can perform helical treatment with artificial intelligence technology in patients undergoing treatment, combining tumor tracking systems with artificial intelligence. The TomoTherapy device is a device that receives a real three-dimensional image with the megavoltage tomography device in it and offers three-dimensional therapy with this image. In the TomoTherapy device, a cross-sectional image is taken and cross-sectional treatment is applied. 

In other devices, a maximum area of ​​40 cm x 40 cm is opened and the tumors in this area are treated. However, the table of the TomoTherapy device moves into the gantry and offers us a treatment area of ​​165 cm. In this way, we successfully perform the treatments of very large areas such as TBI (Whole Body Irradiation), Cranio-Spinal Radiotherapy, Mesothelioma, as well as radiosurgery treatments such as SRS, SBRT.

The device irradiates by rotating what we call helical and has a MLC structure that is 100 times faster than other devices (what we call MLC is the dose-shaping system) so that it kills cancerous tissues while protecting other intact tissues at the maximum level.

With the help of these very fast MLCs, we can irradiate large and amorphous tumors, multiple metastases without damaging healthy tissues, with maximum organ protection at once.

TomoTherapy Radixact device is a device that is painless, has minimum side effects, does not reduce the patient’s quality of life during and after treatment, on the contrary, it is a device that increases. It has been proven by clinical studies that it increases the survival rate of patients and increases their quality of life.
